The trick to buying clothing for newborns is that you have to stay one step ahead of the game so your infant will always have something to wear, no matter what season it might be. Keep your eyes open while you're shopping and look for deals and bargains on children's wear. If you find quality clothing at a huge discount buy it but get the clothing a couple of sizes larger than required as your child will grow into it within a matter of months. While you're at it, look for soft mittens as these play an important role in keeping your baby's little hands warm as well as preventing her from scratching her delicate facial skin.

For newborn babies, you should try and purchase clothing that allow for quick removal. Try and find outfits that come with velcro straps or clip on buttons at the front or back. Most babies get a bit annoyed when you pull a shirt over their heads and will start crying, therefor these slip-ons are a really good idea. What's more, it also help you change his or her diapers a lot faster. Another tip is to not buy clothing that your baby will be able to wear 11 or 12 months down the road, even if it's an absolute bargain. You can never tell how big your infant might be by that time and it could end up being a really big waste of money.

Try to keep things simple when it comes to your baby's wardrobe. Comfort and safety should be the main factors when deciding what to buy. Clothing with cute decorations dangling off it will require you to hand wash and can be a choking hazard as well. As with all organic products, they come at a price and honestly it isn't worth it and your baby will do fine with just regular clothes. The only time you would need to buy organic baby outfits is if your child's skin is particularly sensitive to certain synthetic fabrics.
